Your on demand insurance payment will be debited from your account on the 6th of each month and is used for the following:
- when subscribing to the contract (once per calendar year, therefore once a year):
- in accordance with French law and the code of Insurance, we are obligated to create a ‘phantom contract’ which will allow you to enable and disable on demand insurance for your belongings.
The state takes a terrorism tax which assists victims of terrorist attacks. These fees can be see in your classic insurance contract as they are outlined in your annual insurance payments.
We have also added administrative fees, which are necessary to create your contract alongside added warranties from your first debited payment which will have been activated during the month of the creation of your contract.
- each month, after the month of subscription (and on condition that warranties have been activated during the previous month) : if during month X you activate Y insurance (for one or more items), you will be debited for the number of days you have activated the insurance x the number of items.
During a given month you have not activated on demand insurance, you will not be debited.
Please note: on demand insurance is not the same as subscribing to the Valoo platforms (website or app).
Subscription to the platform (except premium subscriptions) remains completely free for you to access your inventory, export downloads, etc.
